Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. in Commerce, CA seeks a Specialist, Donor Communications to lead content creation and manage multiple donor fundraising projects. You will craft engaging quarterly newsletters for donors and oversee editorial for websites, emails, and print campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, marketing, or liberal arts; nonprofit writing experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years nonprofit experience writing required.
• Experience with social media management tools (Sprout Social or Hootsuite).
• Experience writing about healthcare topics for social media.
• Proven project management skills.
• Recent digital marketing experience (content development, websites, social media, digital advertising, email).
• Experience with online email platforms (Constant Contact or MailChimp).
• HTML/CSS basics are a plus; familiarity with web usability and infrastructure.
• Bilingual English/Spanish desirable.
• Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising and CRM software like Raiser's Edge is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging copy for quarterly fundraising solicitations and 10-12 articles for newsletters.
• Manage multiple donor communication and fundraising projects.
• Collaborate with Annual Fund Manager and team to implement print and digital campaigns.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Analyze workflows and develop strategies to improve efficiency of donor communications.
