Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Donor Center Technician in Norfolk, VA, to join a global healthcare team focused on plasma-derived medicines. The role emphasizes patient-focused donor interactions, pre-donation screening, and ensuring donor confidentiality within a dynamic plasma center environment.

The position offers pay of $16.20–$20.70 per hour, eligibility for a bonus pool up to 4%, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and 401(k)

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Interest in making a difference in the world.
• Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-donation medical screening.
• Interacts with and responds to donor needs.
• Assesses donor suitability and engages in set-up.
• Provides feedback to ineligible donor candidates.
• Ensures all donor screening information is complete.
• Maintains donor confidentiality.
