The American Red Cross in Rockville, MD is seeking a phlebotomy-focused donor services associate. You will support blood collection at fixed site locations, welcome donors, and follow safety procedures to ensure lifesaving donations reach hospitals.
Paid phlebotomy training is provided. Prior healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Roles involve 4x10 hour shifts with weekends, with occasional driving between Donor Centers in DC/VA/MD.

When you join our team you will be utilizing your healthcare and/or customer service skills to assist with every step of the blood collection process at our fixed site locations. This includes collaborating with your team to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for volunteer donors, and following all safety procedures while collecting lifesaving blood donations that are delivered to hospitals.

Shift details: 4 X 10 hour shifts; Weekends required
To best meet the needs of our donors and community, staff work a variable schedule which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Schedule is provided two to three weeks in advance
Staff will work between the Donor Centers in Washington, DC; Woodbridge, VA; Manassas, VA; Lanham, MD; Fairfax, VA
Starting rate $19.97/hour.
