Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Mississippi, Inc. is seeking a Retail Processing Associate to support backroom operations and the retail function by handling donated goods. You will assist donors, process items, and ensure safe loading/unloading from vehicles. This role emphasizes accuracy in tagging, pricing, and safe equipment use.

The position requires high school diploma or GED, strong communication, basic math, and safety awareness. Occasional travel to other store locations may occur as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic judgment skills to determine merchandise/donation value.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
• Basic math skills and understanding of cash control procedures.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and donors in a friendly, positive manner.
• Tags, marks, and codes items; uses PPS equipment for processing.
• Uses carts and pallet jacks safely to move merchandise.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area for customers and staff.
• Assists with placement of donated goods on the sales floor as directed.
• Follows safety policies and CARF requirements; adheres to uniform and appearance standards.
