Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast is seeking a Donation Center Attendant. You will be the first point of contact for donors at our attended donation centers, providing friendly service, assisting with unloading donations, and ensuring a safe, well-organized site.

You’ll handle donor information, keep accurate counts, sort donations, issue tax receipts, and follow Goodwill's mission. The role requires reliability, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, with

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, evenings, weekends, or different locations.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and repetitive motion.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors promptly and courteously, assisting with unloading donations and providing tax receipts.

• Sort donations into appropriate categories (saleable, salvage, or trash).
• Keep the donation site clean, organized, and safe at all times.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move up to forty (40) pounds with no support regularly. Over forty (40) pounds request for additional team member assistance as needed.
• Able to perform tasks that require repetitive motion. Manual dexterity is required.
