Job summary

KARM Stores is seeking a capable team member to support donation processing in a fast-paced environment. You will handle donation intake, presort and price merchandise, and meet daily production goals with accuracy and speed.

Requirements include legible handwriting, basic computer skills, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and a willingness to learn and grow within our mission-driven team. Must be 18+, schedule 9a-6p with some Saturdays, and employee discounts apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to write legibly by hand.
• Basic typing and web browsing skills required.
• Must understand and follow written or oral instructions.
• Must become proficient in production to meet goals.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations and presort/pricing merchandise.
• Achieve daily and weekly production goals (35 pieces per hour).
• Contribute to the mission and core values of the team.

This includes all requirements related to accepting donations, presorting and pricing merchandise.Achieve daily and weekly production goals set by the manager. This includes hitting the overall company goal of 35 pieces produced per hour.Ability to produce quick and accurate work in a fast-paced environment.Assist the team by living out our Mission to Reveal, Tell & Provide as well as carrying out our Core Values of being Trustworthy, Team-Minded, and Teachable.Skills & RequirementsAbility to write in legible, clear handwriting.Must have a commitment to KARM Stores’ mission and mission statement.Computer skills to include general typing skills and web browsing capabilities.Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions and goals provided in written or oral formMust become proficient in production so as to meet established goals.Stand – up to 100% of a standard work day.Lifting and Bending – up to 75% of a standard work day.Moderate to heavy physical activity. This position may require frequent strenuous activity. The ability to lift at least 50 pounds is essential for job performance.
