Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont in Charlotte, NC is seeking a dedicated team member for donation processing and retail support. The role starts at $15/hour with annual raises and bonuses, plus benefits for full-time staff, including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

You will greet donors, sort and price merchandise, move items to the sales floor, and assist with custodial tasks while following safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout your shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• You’ll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements
