Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of Central Florida Inc in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Donation Attendant for Lakeshore Store. This full-time position supports donor interactions, sorts donations and maintains a safe, clean workspace.

Responsibilities include greeting donors, issuing receipts, following safety policies, and presenting a positive image of the organization. Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds; HS diploma not required but preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Prior work experience in service industry preferred but not required.
• Must read, write and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Project a positive image of Goodwill to all donors.
• Sort donated materials as instructed.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment and promote safe, courteous service to donors.
• Accept donations from the general public and issue a receipt for donations.
• Present a positive image of the Company through prompt, courteous service.
• Follow the safety policies of the Company as it pertains to the work area.
