Job summary

The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Donation Center Attendant to oversee the operations and security of the donation area. This role supports the mission by handling donated goods with care and ensuring compliance with policy.

You will receive and receipt donations, safeguard items and equipment, inform donors of unacceptable materials, keep the area neat, sort and load trailers, and report any complaints, damage, or unsafe conditions to your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive and receipt donated material courteously and efficiently.
• Safeguard all donated material and assigned equipment.
• Advise donors of unacceptable materials and maintain cleanliness.
• Sort and load trailers and ensure no unauthorized access.
• Report complaints, damage, or unsafe conditions to supervisor immediately.
