Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous retail, cashier, or warehouse experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Must be able to follow directions, work independently, and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn Goodwill standards for donations, pricing, and sales.
• Complete required training, HazMat awareness, and equipment certifications within 30 days of hire.
• Basic proficiency with POS, handheld scanners, barcode printers; willingness to learn AI-assisted item recognition/price suggestion tools as deployed.
• Dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Process sales transactions at the register with cash, credit, and other forms of payment.
• Receive, unload, and sort donated goods; assess quality and usability.
• Hang, tag, price, and stock donated merchandise.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of sales floor, donation area, stockroom, and restrooms.
• Adhere to attendance policy and safety standards.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answering policy questions.
• Support team by rotating cashier, production, and sales floor duties as needed.
• Participate in training and development related to ACE culture and policies.
• May participate in new store building and renovation efforts.
• Perform other duties to meet daily production, safety, and customer goals.
