We’re looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to lead our East Memphis store. This role focuses on ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and driving profitability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and paperwork for each shift.
• Manage cost controls, inventory maintenance, and cash handling.
• Ensure all policy and procedural standards are followed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper equipment operation.
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve issues.
• Assist with marketing activities and drive store profitability.
• Support staff training and mentorship.

Essential Functions & Skills

• Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and accurate monetary change handling.
• Proficient verbal, written, and telephone communication for customer and crew interactions.
• Fast and accurate order entry using computer or touchscreen.
• Strong motor coordination for handling food and equipment.
• Basic navigational skills for delivery within designated area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or food service experience preferred.
• Ability to work under stress and meet quality standards.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for deliveries).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.

Physical & Work Conditions

• Standing, walking, and occasional lifting throughout the shift.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, food odors, and moisture.
• Requirement to drive for deliveries and deliver promotional materials.
• Work may include short periods of stooping, bending, and reaching above shoulder height.
