Job summary

Southern California Alcohol and Drug Programs, Inc. is seeking a Monitor – Domestic Violence to provide security for the program and assist with shelter operations. You will answer the Domestic Violence Hotline, offer crisis support and referrals, and help with client supervision under supervision of the Program Manager.

You will support security, safety checks, entrance monitoring, and aid in maintaining orderly shelter operations while demonstrating sensitivity to survivors of violence.

Qualifications

• Crisis counseling and crisis intervention skills are required.
• Ability to monitor facilities and enforce safety and security protocols.
• Strong record-keeping and reporting of incidents and client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Domestic Violence Hotline under supervision and provide referrals.
• Assist with client supervision and shelter operations with program staff.
• Transport participants in the company vehicle to offsite appointments as needed.
