Job summary

Partnership for Families, Children & Adults is seeking a Domestic Violence Case Manager to provide case management and advocacy in the Domestic Violence Shelter in Tennessee. You will assist victims of domestic violence and related concerns, coordinating services and supporting clients through their shelter stay.

Under the supervision of the Lead Shelter Case Manager, you will conduct intake, help clients set goals, run support groups and life skills sessions, and link with community

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year in a social work/human services setting.
• 1 year of case management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Trauma Informed Care Trained (preferred).
• Rehousing services knowledge or experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake and assessment for shelter housing.
• Assist clients in setting goals to be completed during their shelter experience.
• Provide support groups and life skills.
• Link with appropriate agency and community resources.
• Advocate on the victim's behalf.
• Maintain a shelter environment conducive to client success.
• Provide rapid rehousing services when appropriate.

Job Summary:

Under general supervision of the Lead Shelter Case Manager (LSCM), the Domestic Violence Case Manager provides case management/advocacy services in the Domestic Violence Shelter to assist clients who are victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. The Domestic Violence Case Manager performs all related activities including intake and assessment for shelter housing, assisting the client in setting goals to be completed during their shelter experience, providing support groups and life skills, linking with appropriate agency and community resources, advocating on the victim’s behalf, maintaining a shelter environment that is conducive to client success, and providing rapid rehousing housing services.
