Qualifications

• Experience with post-training LLMs for domain or real-world use cases.
• Background in reinforcement learning, reward design, or data curation for LLMs.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and iterate on feedback.
• Strong ability to read datasets, identify issues, and extract insights.
• Excellent cross-functional teamwork and communication skills.
• Passion for applying AI to chip development and hardware self-improvement.
• Interest in a role combining applied research with hands-on data work.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end data strategy for knowledge work verticals, from task sourcing to RL training.
• Build and manage relationships with external vendors, including evaluation of data quality and reward design.
• Collaborate with domain experts to design data pipelines and evaluations.
• Explore novel methods to create RL environments for high-value tasks.
• Develop QA frameworks to catch reward hacking and ensure environment quality.
• Run generalization experiments to measure improvements in model capabilities.
• Partner with AI researchers and product teams to translate goals into training environments, evals, and features.
