Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking a Domain Risk Lead to advance IT risk governance and align with COBIT, NIST, and ISO 27001 standards. You will manage risk registers, drive mitigation strategies, and report to senior leaders on risk trends and remediation progress.

The role requires 7+ years in IT risk, audit, or cybersecurity, with a strong analytical mindset and SOX familiarity. This on-site position offers robust benefits and growth within a global brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in BA or BS required.
• 7+ years IT risk management, audit, or cybersecurity experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with enterprise technology and data risk management.
• Deep understanding of COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Implementation and/or use of GRC systems such as Archer GRC.
• Experience with regulatory requirements including SOX/FFIEC.
• Familiarity with security best practices, enterprise controls, ITGCs.
• Banking regulations experience preferred.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern the domain risk management framework aligned to enterprise risk appetite and business objectives.
• Maintain a comprehensive risk register, ensuring risks are documented and actioned.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to reduce exposure.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead domain risk incidents, root-cause analysis, and remediation tracking.
• Evaluate control design and effectiveness, recommending enhancements.
• Lead annual technology risk assessments and translate outcomes for leadership.
• Deliver concise risk reporting and executive communications on risks and progress.
• Advise senior stakeholders to promote a strong risk-aware culture.
