Job summary

Awayday is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to own data across Operations, HR, Marketing, and Business Development, from models to dashboards and ad hoc analysis. You will define metrics with stakeholders, build scalable models, and extend them into the semantic layer while ensuring data quality and consistent reporting.

The role requires strong SQL, cloud data warehousing (Snowflake preferred), and experience with modern BI tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data analysis with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience building models in a cloud data warehouse with semantic modeling.
• Experience building dashboards in modern BI tools.
• Ability to translate business requirements into governed metrics.
• Ownership of data quality and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Own data domain across Operations, HR, Marketing, and Business Development end to end.
• Define metrics in partnership with business and extend the semantic layer.
• Build and maintain dashboards in BI tools and the semantic layer.
• Ensure data quality, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements before building.
• Curate governance for AI-assisted analytics and validate outputs.
