Atlas and Dog Walking D.C. (DWDC) is seeking a Dog Walker to service the Washington, D.C. area.

The role involves walking dogs for multiple clients, following scheduled routes, and adhering to client care instructions. The walker must ensure safety, manage time effectively, and maintain professional communication with clients. Responsibilities include entering clients' homes, harnessing dogs, and walking for 30 or 60 minutes, with optional weekend/holiday flexibility.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage time effectively between client visits.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with both small and large dogs or cats.

Responsibilities

• Enter the clients’ home, harness/leash the dog(s), and begin walk (start time).
• Safely walk dogs for 30 or 60 minutes as specified.
• Follow client care instructions including training preferences.
• Provide water if needed and crate dogs as required by client.
• Maintain on-time arrivals and communicate with clients or staff.
