Job summary

T&T PET CARE SERVICES LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Dog Walker and Handler to join our team. You will pick up dogs from their homes, get them ready, and take them for walks on varied routes, ensuring safety and a positive experience for each dog.

The ideal candidate can handle dogs of many sizes and breeds, works well outdoors in diverse weather, and provides excellent customer service while keeping clients informed through our software system.

Qualifications

• Experience working with dogs of multiple breeds and sizes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from client's homes.
• Reliable smart phone with data plan and an understanding of software systems.
• The ability to walk several miles each day in a variety of weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of dog safety.

Responsibilities

• Greet dogs, get them ready, and ensure they are properly dressed (harness, collar, etc) and safely secured
• Walk dogs for the designated time over various routes
• Clean up after any dogs in your care and properly dispose of waste
• Keep dogs and people safe by having control over dogs at all times and following company protocols
• Use common sense and best dog walking practices to ensure dogs are safe and healthy while in your care
• Send pictures and a written report to client through our company's software system

As a Dog Walker, you will be picking up dogs from their homes, getting them ready, and taking them for a walk on various routes, for a designated amount of time. You will be responsible for keeping the dog safe during your walk, cleaning up after them, and ensuring they are having a great time while being safe. The ideal candidate has experience working with dogs of many sizes and breeds, can work outside in a variety of temperatures and seasons, and has excellent customer service skills.
