Crossroads Pet Resort in Stanton, CA is seeking a dedicated dog trainer for Board & Train, Puppy, and Daycare & Train programs. You will design individualized plans, document daily progress, and communicate outcomes with dog owners to achieve training goals.

Requirements include at least one year in a board & train setting and CPDT-KA certification is preferred. The role involves outdoor work, shift flexibility, and a focus on safety and animal welfare.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year experience as a dog trainer in a board & train setting.
• CPDT-KA Certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to recall dog's names, breeds, and details about individual dogs is a must.
• Knowledge of canine behavior and behavior modification training.

Responsabilidades

• Work daily with Board & Train, Puppy, and Daycare & Train dogs using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Maintain an organized schedule of client appointments and daily sessions.
• Log training sessions and complete training-related paperwork and client progress reports.
• Design and implement training plans in accordance with procedures and guidance from Training Manager.
• Conduct daily one-on-one training sessions for obedience, behaviors, leash work, and socialization.
