Dan's Pet Care is seeking an experienced Dog Trainer on Long Island to lead individual and group training sessions, working with a range of breeds and ages. You will educate clients, coach staff, and travel to client homes or training sites while maintaining detailed progress records.

We offer a W-2 position with benefits, paid training, and opportunities for advancement in a company with 16+ years of service on Long Island. Weekend availability is preferred and transportation is required.

Formación

• CPDT certification or equivalent required
• Minimum 2+ years professional dog training experience
• Solid knowledge of canine behavior and behavior modification techniques
• Comfortable working with dogs of all temperaments
• Ability to manage both private lessons and group classes
• Reliable, insured vehicle — on-the-road position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

We are currently seeking an experienced Dog Trainer to join our team! We are looking for an individual that can demonstrate deep knowledge of dog breeds, behaviors, training tactics, and a successful portfolio. This role will challenge you to not only lead training classes but also work one on one with our clients to build strong client relationships!

Key Responsibilities

• Reliable, insured vehicle — this is an on-the-road position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
