Job summary

Off Leash K9 Training, LLC is hiring a Dog Trainer to join our Dayton territory team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who loves dogs and enjoys helping people, with the chance to build real skills and a meaningful career.

You will train dogs of all sizes, handle behavior issues, and work closely with clients and the public while developing expertise in training and client education. A strong work ethic and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated strong work ethic and reliability.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Must reside in Dayton or surrounding areas.
• Ability to board at least 2 dogs in home for 14 days.
• Reliable transportation.
• Basic video editing skills (iMovie preferred).
• Familiar with social media (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
• Willing to complete a 17-day trainer certification course in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Train dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages.
• Work with behavior issues ranging from anxiety to aggression.
• Interact professionally with clients and the public.
• Continue developing your skills in both dog training and client education.
• Attend PR and community events.
