If you're looking for more than just another training job, this is an opportunity to help shape one of Southern Arizona's fastest-growing nonprofit dog training organizations. Our trainers work with dogs and the people who love them through private lessons, behavior consultations, group classes, Board & Train, and Day Train programs-all with one goal in mind: keeping dogs in their homes.

What Makes Sol Dog Different

We believe every dog is an individual. Our trainers use a balanced training philosophy, combining sound behavior principles, clear communication, and practical solutions tailored to each dog and family. We are looking for professionals who are open-minded, collaborative, and committed to lifelong learning.

As our organization continues to grow, you'll have opportunities to expand your skills, help develop new programs, participate in community education, and make a lasting impact on dogs and their families.

We're Looking for Someone Who...

• Has at least 2 years of professional dog training experience and enjoys working with both dogs and people.
• Is comfortable teaching private lessons, behavior consultations, group classes, and Board & Train programs.
• Can confidently evaluate behavior and develop individualized training plans.
• Communicates with professionalism, patience, and empathy.
• Willing and excited to shadow and learn from other trainers to expand skills and experience
• Understands that there is no one-size-fits-all training method and can adapt training approaches to meet the individual needs of each dog and client
• Thrives as part of a collaborative team.
• Shares our passion for strengthening the bond between dogs and their families.

We're not looking for someone who knows everything-we're looking for someone who is always learning, enjoys collaborating with others, and is excited to grow alongside our organization.
