Job summary

Citizen Canine INC in Chicago, IL seeks a passionate Dog Hotel Team Member to care for our four-legged guests in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

You will supervise play groups, feed and medicate as instructed, report updates to owners, and help keep the facility clean. Prior pet-care experience is a plus, and a love of dogs is essential.

Qualifications

• Genuine love for dogs and experience handling multiple breeds and sizes.
• Ability to stand, walk, and stay active throughout the shift.
• Strong observational skills to read dog body language and stress signals.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends, some holidays, and early/late shifts.
• Excellent communication with pet owners and team members.
• Previous pet care experience is a plus.
• Ability to stay calm and act quickly in high-energy situations.
• Bathing dogs as needed.
