Job summary

fido fido, LLC in Georgia seeks a Guest Care / Dog Handler to join our team part-time. You will spend most of your day with canine guests, providing care, playtime, and affection, while occasionally assisting with light customer service. Applicants should be upbeat, love dogs, and be comfortable getting a little dirty.

You must be able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced, pet-focused environment. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a fun, upbeat, dependable individual.
• Loves dogs and isn’t afraid of getting muddy.
• Physically able to stand, lift 30–50 lbs, and move around easily.
• Comfort around all dog breeds and behaviors.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Previous experience with animals is a plus but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Engage with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels.
• Feed, clean, and care for boarding or daycare dogs.
• Monitor dog behavior and ensure a safe play environment.
• Light cleaning and facility upkeep.
• Greet pet parents and provide updates or answer basic questions.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a reliable, pet-oriented team member to join our guest care and dog handling crew. While there’s a touch of customer service involved, the majority of your time will be spent one-on-one with our canine guests—providing care, playtime, and plenty of affection.

What You’ll Do:

• Engage with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels
• Feed, clean, and care for boarding or daycare dogs
• Monitor dog behavior and ensure a safe play environment
• Light cleaning and facility upkeep (yes, it gets a little dirty sometimes!)
• Greet pet parents and provide updates or answer basic questions

• Someone who truly loves dogs and isn’t afraid of getting a little muddy
