Qualifications

• Proven Experience: At least 1 year of prior professional grooming experience with dogs, including haircuts.
• Team Player: collaborates well with colleagues to ensure all duties are completed.
• Flexibility: able to adjust schedule to meet clients’ needs.
• Good Communicator: communicates clearly with clients, colleagues, and management.
• Attention to detail: observes and addresses each dog's grooming needs carefully.
• Knowledgeable: familiar with breed standards, coats, and styling.

• Time Management: grooms efficiently to meet appointment times.
• Physical Stamina: stands and works for long periods; lifts dogs of various sizes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations with pet parents to propose appropriate grooming services.
• Perform grooming tasks: bathing, brushing, clipping, nails, ears, and deodorizing for dogs of all sizes.
• Provide compassionate care, making the grooming environment calm for anxious pets.
• Notice potential health concerns and communicate them to owners.
• Monitor and manage grooming supplies; inform management of needs.
• Schedule and manage appointments using kennel software.
• Follow safety policies and use PPE to protect pets and staff.
• Address guest concerns and provide follow-up information as needed.
• Maintain pet records, including vaccination requirements.
