Job summary

Scenthound is hiring a Dog Groomer to provide grooming services to clients in our Texas shop. You will groom dogs to our standards, focusing on puppy-cut style and client safety.

The role requires grooming experience or completion of grooming school, knowledge of breeds, and physical stamina to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods. A reliable ride and smoke-free work environment are expected.

Responsibilities

• Groom to Scenthound standards.
• Provide puppy-cut grooming: uniform length and neat face.
• Foster a collaborative, learning-friendly shop environment.
• Identify needs and assist to keep the schedule on track.
• Uphold safety for dogs and teammates at all times.
• Maintain sanitation and cleaning standards per policy.
• Assist with additional duties as directed by the Manager.

The Dog Groomer is an integral position at Scenthound, offering grooming knowledge and providing grooming services to clients.

This Dog Groomer position requires:

• At least one year of grooming experience or graduation from a grooming school

We are searching for a confident dog groomer who loves to groom dogs! A successful Dog Groomer is knowledgeable, perceptive, patient, adaptable, and a compassionate dog lover! We are looking for a motivated groomer to join our team!

Tasks

• Groom to Scenthound standards.
• All we do are puppy cuts; one length all-over with a neat face
• Create an environment conducive to learning, open communication, and teamwork
• Identify when/ where help is needed and provide assistance to keep Scenter on schedule
• Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times
• Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Scenter Manager
