Job summary

Happy Paws Llc in Washington, DC is seeking staff to lead engaging play and enrichment for dogs and to provide daily care, feeding, and occasional medication. You will help create a safe, inviting space where dogs can thrive and form trusting bonds with the team.

As part of a dog-loving team, you will monitor behavior, support dogs with special needs, and ensure cleanliness and safety across play areas. Training is provided; prior animal-care experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous professional animal-care experience is a plus, but not required. We will provide training.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging play and enrichment activities tailored to each dog
• Provide daily care, feeding, and occasional medication
• Keep play areas and other spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Monitor dog behavior, interactions, and overall comfort
• Give extra attention to dogs with individual or special needs
• Work as part of a supportive, dog-loving team
