  • Monitor health and report concerns immediately.
  • Document playgroup notes and behavior observations.
  • Communicate updates to leadership and, when needed, to pet parents.

We're looking for a Part-Time Dog Daycare Attendant to supervise group play sessions, manage pack dynamics, and ensure every dog has a safe, structured, and enriching daycare experience. What You'll Do

As a Daycare Attendant, you are responsible for the safety and structure of the pack.

Your day will include:

  • Supervising group play sessions with multiple dogs
  • Monitoring body language and preventing conflicts
  • Redirecting inappropriate behavior calmly and confidently
  • Separating dogs when needed
  • Walking dogs to and from play areas
  • Cleaning and sanitizing play yards throughout your shift
  • Monitoring health and reporting any concerns immediately
  • Documenting playgroup notes and behavior observations
  • Communicating updates to leadership and occasionally to pet parents
  • You will be on your feet most of the day, moving quickly, and staying alert.
  • Yes - you will clean messes.
  • Yes - you'll get dirty.
  • Yes - it can be loud and busy.
  • And yes - it's incredibly rewarding when done well.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is:

  • Confident supervising groups of dogs
  • Knowledgeable (or willing to learn) about dog behavior and pack dynamics
  • Calm, assertive, and safety-focused
  • Physically active and comfortable standing for long periods
  • Detail-oriented with strong observation skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude

You must be able to:

  • Lift up to 60 lbs
  • Handle dogs of all sizes safely
  • Work indoors and outdoors in various temperatures
  • Work weekends and holidays
  • Stay focused in a noisy, fast-moving environment
