Job summary

K-9 Kountry is seeking a Dog Care Giver to join our team. You will tend to the dogs, follow feeding guidelines, refill water bowls, and offer treats and companionship while keeping the environment clean and safe. You’ll walk or socialize dogs as needed, work well in a team, and handle dogs of all sizes.

Comfort with lifting up to 50 lbs and using basic computer programs is also expected. This role requires stamina and the ability to stand for long periods, with a friendly, patient attitude to

• Must be comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs including MS Office.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

• Clean and maintain pet enclosures so that every dog under your care has a safe, healthy living environment.

As a Dog Care Giver, you will spend your days tending to the dogs under our care, including following guidelines for feeding, refilling water bowls, and offering treats and companionship. You will also be responsible for ensuring the environment is clean and safe for all the dogs as well as walking or socializing dogs as needed. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with all breeds, can work on their feet for long periods of time, and can work well in a team environment.
