Independence Veterinary Clinic is seeking a part-time Dog Bather

This role plays an important part in supporting our grooming department and ensuring pets feel clean, comfortable, and safe throughout their grooming experience.

Salary

$15.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Bathing and drying dogs
• Nail trims
• Teeth brushing
• Ear cleaning
• Brushing and basic coat care
• Assisting groomer as needed and maintaining a clean work area
• Ensuring pets are handled calmly and safely at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with dogs and cats required
• Grooming experience is a plus
• Comfort handling dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Dependable, team‑oriented, and able to follow instructions
