K-9 Kountry is seeking a Dog Bather to join our team in the United States. You will provide quality bathing and basic grooming services to dogs in our care, ensuring they are clean, comfortable, and well cared for in a safe grooming environment.

The ideal candidate is comfortable with dogs of all sizes, patient, and able to work on their feet for extended periods. Teamwork and adherence to safety protocols are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and breeds.
• Must be able to work on your feet for long periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Bathe and thoroughly rinse dogs according to their grooming instructions.
• Use appropriate shampoos and products based on coat and skin needs.
• Dry dogs with grooming equipment and techniques.
• Brush and de-shed dogs as needed.
• Perform basic grooming tasks including nail trims and ear cleaning.
• Safely handle dogs during bathing and drying, prioritizing safety.
• Monitor dogs for stress or discomfort and communicate concerns.
• Clean and sanitize bathing areas and equipment throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized grooming environment.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Provide a positive experience for every dog.
• Keep records of services provided and any concerns noted.
• Communicate grooming needs and behavior with team members.
• Assist grooming team with other duties as needed.
