Job summary

CACI is seeking a Strategic Logistics Specialist to support a transformative Department of Energy mission. You will influence procurement, inventory management, and lead cross-location initiatives to reduce lead times and empower field teams nationwide.

You will work with senior leaders to prepare executive briefings, ensure data-driven decisions, and apply best practices in government logistics. A Top Secret or DOE clearance is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• At least two years of logistics support experience.
• Active DOE Q clearance preferred, or Top Secret with favorable background in past 5 years.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex information into leadership-ready products.
• Extensive knowledge of military-style data reporting for supply operations or DOE supply ops.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Aptitude for learning new software systems quickly.
• Ability to brief diverse audiences including SES and flag-level leadership.
• Understanding of inventory control best practices and FAR procurement guidance.

Responsibilities

• Shaping and contributing to a Procurement Services Program Plan aligned with DOE goals.
• Analyzing inventory and procurement processes to identify gaps and improve efficiency.
• Reviewing and compiling documentation to support data-driven decision-making.
• Preparing concise, executive-level briefings for senior leadership.
• Creating and refining workflows, reports, and analysis products for operational improvements.
• Applying logistics best practices to translate them into actionable strategies.
