Job summary

DEFTEC Corporation in Nevada is seeking a skilled Weather Forecaster to support the 432d Wing at Creech AFB. This position requires a minimum of two years of experience in weather forecasting and a TS/SCI clearance. The forecaster will provide operational support for military missions and ensure effective weather services in a 24/7 environment.

The role involves analyzing weather conditions and producing briefings for aircrews while working closely with various teams. A strong familiarity with Microsoft Office and military meteorology is essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess TS/SCI Clearance (SAP/SAP Network & NATO ACCM).
• Minimum of two years of weather forecasting experience.
• Ability to develop and analyze security measures.

Responsibilities

• Understand operational weather requirements and train personnel.
• Provide timely weather analyses for aircrew and commanders.
• Modify forecasts for exact conditions expected during operations.
