Booz Allen is seeking an Engineering Technician, Mid to support DoD weapon systems in New Jersey. The role emphasizes applying technical methods to design, modify, install, test, and evaluate complex systems, including reporting data from tests and performing operational experiments.

Candidates should have 2+ years of weapon systems experience, be able to test and troubleshoot with setup, and be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A HS diploma or GED is required and travel up to 50% may be needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with weapon or weapon systems as a qualified technician.
• Experience troubleshooting and testing weapons, including test preparation and setup.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance and maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical techniques and standards to developing, testing, and operating complex DoD weapon systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and program system equipment or components.
• Prepare reports and analyze test data from evaluations and experiments.
• Operate vehicles as part of setup and execution of tests and experiments.
