General Dynamics Mission Systems, Inc is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support Trellix/HBSS endpoint security within DoD computing environments. You will install, configure, and maintain Trellix products, develop security policies, and assist with DoD compliance efforts.

You will collaborate with diverse engineering teams, analyze vulnerabilities, and prepare security documentation and evidence to support certification and accreditation activities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, cybersecurity, CS, IT, or related field with 1 year experience; or Master's degree.
• U.S. citizenship and DoD Secret clearance eligibility at hire.
• Understanding of systems engineering and cybersecurity concepts, principles, and practices.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux OS and basic system administration.
• Familiarity with COTS software installation, configuration and support.
• Knowledge of RMF, DISA STIGs, and government security requirements.
• Ability to perform security testing, verification and validation; good report writing.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, maintain, test, and troubleshoot Trellix/HBSS products and endpoint components.
• Support Trellix ePO, Trellix Agent, and Endpoint Security configurations and policies.
• Develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain Trellix security policies.
• Validate changes in lab/test environments per security policies and controls.
• Monitor endpoint health, agent communications, security events, and policy application.
• Troubleshoot agent communication, policy enforcement, and compatibility issues; document fixes.
• Evaluate interactions between applications, platforms, and site security policies.
• Conduct security testing and evaluate applicability of security requirements.
• Perform vulnerability scans, document findings, and track remediation.
• Support DISA STIG implementation, assessment, and documentation.
• Create installation procedures, policy guides, and evidence documentation.
• Collect and maintain cybersecurity Objective Quality Evidence (OQE).
