Job summary

Allied Universal, a leader in security and facility services, seeks a Cleared Security Officer Patrol Driver in Aurora, CO. This full-time role involves protecting and serving clients across aero/defense sectors and maintaining a strong, visible security presence.

You will conduct regular patrols, manage access, and coordinate with staff to ensure safety and operational continuity. The position requires an active DoD Top Secret clearance and a valid driver’s license, with a focus on customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document security-related incidents and observations.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, complete required reports, and communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
