Mobile Communications America (MCA) invites transitioning service members to apply for the Communications Systems Intern position in Savannah, GA. This role supports the Voice team and provides hands-on experience with RF systems, installations, and maintenance within a military-friendly environment.

Designed for DoD SkillBridge participants, the internship emphasizes learning OEM equipment, interpreting schematics, and working across diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of technical experience or a combination of related education/experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/schematics.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to evolving technologies.
• Strong communication and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Support RF Engineers and Lead Technicians during system installations, upgrades, and maintenance projects.
• Install and configure RF transmission equipment, antennas, repeaters, and 2-way radio systems to specs.
• Assist with RF cabling infrastructure including coax, Cat5/6, and fiber lines.
• Use RF test equipment and basic hand/power tools for alignment and programming.
• Work across environments to deploy and service networks.
