Job summary

Siemens is offering a DoD SkillBridge Internship for a Field Technician in the Central U.S. region, with hands-on experience across HVAC, Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, and Security systems. The role is presented through Vets2PM in partnership with DoD SkillBridge.

Selected candidates remain paid by the U.S. Military wage/benefits; Siemens does not directly pay during the internship. Active-duty service members are required and approval is necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience or familiarity with HVAC, Building Automation, Fire Alarm, or Security systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC/Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, or Security systems and perform repair or installation as needed.
• Consult with internal engineering/management for discrepancies or issues.
• Complete service work documentation, provide training instructions, and suggest system enhancements.
