Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology in Homestead, FL is seeking a Network/System Administrator I to organize, install and support government computer networks, including LAN/WAN, servers and related security tooling. You will participate in design, deployment planning and day-to-day operations to sustain DoD SAP/SCI environments.

Requirements include 1+ year experience, TS/SCI clearance with CI poly, IAT Level I certs, and hands-on administration of Windows Server and Linux, virtualization,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of related experience in network/system administration.
• Experience with SAP environments is a plus and DoD policies familiarity is preferred.
• IAT Level I certification or equivalent is required or desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate day to day management and operations of systems and networks.
• Manage COTS & GOTS products to collect, display and remediate a variety of automated system security and system operations/performance functions and metrics.
• Follow O&M checklists to maintain the service; develop SOPs and TTPs.
• Operate SIEM tools and create/tailor complex event alarms and reports.
• Participate in security incident response when needed.
• Work with Windows Server, RHEL, Hyper-V/VMware, firewalls and related tech.
