Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Journeyman Systems Cybersecurity Engineer at Hanscom AFB, MA. The role supports the C3I and Infrastructure Division and HCIC, delivering enterprise cybersecurity services for over 110 Air Force installations.

Requires a DoD security background with 3+ years in the field, RMF experience, and IAM Level II certifications. Salary range is $100,000–$115,000 annual, with full-time status and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in the DoD, with a focus on cybersecurity practices.
• Experience implementing RMF and information security programs.
• Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies, processes, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform ISSO duties per DoDI 8510.01 and 8500.01 for assigned systems.
• Support RMF implementation and risk-based decision making.
• Develop and maintain an IS security program and related policies.
• Assist with A&A activities and ensure artifacts meet DoD/Air Force requirements.
• Maintain repository of cybersecurity documentation and monitor policy compliance.
• Report and resolve security issues and support planning and reviews.
