Job summary

CDW is seeking an experienced IT Auditor to independently perform audits of complex information systems and enclaves, ensuring controls align with Federal and DOD standards. You will evaluate required security levels and protect systems from unauthorized access, while working across all phases of information systems auditing.

The role requires RMF/NIST SP 800-53 knowledge, eMASS experience, and strong analytical skills, with an active DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience with DODI 8500.2 or NIST SP 800-53 and understand the principles of the RMF.
• Two (2) years of experience with eMASS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving security issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access; proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, to include Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong skills implementing and configuring networks and networks components.
• Experience weighing business needs against security concerns.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform IT audits on complex information systems, applications, and enclaves to ensure controls exist and are compliant with Federal and DOD standards.
• Conduct accurate evaluation of the level of security required.
• Perform all procedures to protect information systems from unauthorized access or destruction.
• Work at the highest level of all phases of information systems auditing.
• Provide technical support in vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, network security, and security implementation.
• Provide technical evaluations of customer systems and assist with security improvements.
• Conduct cybersecurity control validation exercises on classified and unclassified networks, applications, and systems to validate effectiveness of security measures.
• Weigh business needs against security concerns to evaluate mitigations.
