Job summary

The Pennsylvania State University’s Applied Research Laboratory seeks a Cyber Security Information Analyst to safeguard DoD-aligned ARL programs. Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience supporting DoD programs.
• Expertise with navigation technologies and submarine systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide cyber security support to ARL program sponsors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements and ensure secure design and operation.
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and recommend improvements in line with DoD requirements.
• Perform vulnerability scanning and configuration compliance assessments.
• Develop and track POA&Ms to remediate vulnerabilities and gaps.
• Support RMF activities and authorization package development.
• Assist in A&A processes with security documentation.
• Implement security controls and safeguard sensitive information.
• Develop incident response procedures and support investigations.
• Monitor emerging threats and advise on improvements to security programs.
