Job summary

Tharros seeks an Information Security Analyst to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Cyber Warfare Department at Pax River, MD. The analyst will contribute to cybersecurity, RMF, vulnerability assessment, and cyber risk mitigation for Navy networks and mission infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Requires active TS, SCI-eligible
• Experience with RMF processes and ATO artifacts
• Experience producing technical cybersecurity documentation
• Experience supporting DoD or government platforms and IT infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor security measures for networks and information systems.
• Assess system vulnerabilities and direct mitigation strategies.
• Oversee security controls for digital files and electronic infrastructure.
• Perform Information Assurance and Cyber Security activities across task areas.
• Support RMF activities: control assessment, package development, artifact review, POA&M support, and authorization documentation.
• Review vulnerability data, risk assessments, and authorization artifacts for quality.
• Support cyber forensic analysis in response to threats in hardware/software environments.
• Coordinate with Government personnel, leadership, and contractor teams on cyber risk and authorization matters.
