Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Plumber Technician to oversee plumbing systems on federal construction projects, ensuring compliance with IPC, UFC, and contract requirements.

The role involves reviewing installations, conducting inspections, and providing technical recommendations throughout construction. The candidate will work with project managers, engineers, contractors, and government representatives to ensure installation, testing, and commissioning meet project

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; plumbing training preferred.
• Valid Plumbing License required.
• Ten years of experience in plumbing installation, inspection, testing, or construction oversight.
• Thorough knowledge of IPC, UFC, and applicable plumbing standards.
• Experience reviewing plans, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Experience with federal/DoD/military construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight, inspection, and QA support for plumbing systems on federal construction projects.
• Review plumbing installations for code and contract compliance.
• Conduct inspections and testing during all construction phases.
• Prepare detailed technical reports with corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to improve work practices, facility design, and plumbing features.
• Schedule and perform final acceptance tests of plumbing systems.
• Respond to RFIs and review scopes of work for field changes.
