Qualifications

• 5+ years of network security design for large enterprises or government agencies.
• 3+ years of firewall and enterprise security design including IDS/IPS, SIEM, IPsec, vulnerability assessment.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco or Juniper firewalls.
• Proficiency with packet analysis tools such as Wireshark.
• Experience with monitoring tools and log collectors for traffic analysis.
• Experience with boundary protection.
• Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Design and test boundary security capabilities in lab environments and implement into production.
• Support implementation teams with remote firewall and security appliance support.
• Identify security requirements for switched and routed networks and apply best-practice configurations.
• Analyze complex client enterprise network deployments and contribute to new security principles.
• Tackle unusually complex problems with innovative solutions and mentor staff.
