Job summary

Peraton seeks an IT Specialist to support the SITEC EOM contract at Fort Carson, CO. The role covers Tier 1/2 network, systems, and phone support, and requires administration of routers, switches, VTCs, phones, laptops and related IT assets.

You will create monitoring reports, coordinate IT administration with the networking and systems team, and prepare technical implementation plans with milestones for complete solutions. DoD/USSOCOM policy compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• BS + 2 years experience or HS + 6 years or AA + 4 years.
• DoD TS with SCI required.
• Solid technical skills in network protocols, software and hardware.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Government hardware, software, and network components.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication abilities.
• CCNA required.
• Must be DoW 8140 compliant.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and 2 network, systems, and phone support.
• Administer network and communications systems, including routers, switches, VTCs, phones, and laptops.
• Create monitoring reports and manage equipment logs.
• Coordinate IT administration with the networking and systems team.
• Prepare technical implementation plans with milestones and timelines.
• Ensure network compliance with standards and DoD/USSOCOM policies.
• Provide full lifecycle support of LAN and WAN infrastructures.
• Install, tune, test, upgrade, patch, and repair LAN/WAN hardware and software.
