Job summary

Amentum is seeking an IT Scrum Master to support the Missile Defense Agency on the IRES contract. The role operates in an onsite/hybrid environment across Huntsville, AL, and Colorado Springs, CO, coordinating with the RTE and dispersed IT teams.

Responsibilities include aligning Scrum Master activities with SAFe frameworks, coaching teams, maintaining backlogs, and delivering weekly metrics. Amentum offers robust security clearances and a collaboration-focused culture.

Qualifications

Must have 4+ years of general (full-time) work experience.
Must have 2+ years of directly related Scrum Master/Agile experience.
Must hold an active Agile certification (CSM/PSM I/SSM).
Experience using Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps for distributed teams.

Responsibilities

Partner with the RTE to align Scrum Master role with SAFe and Agile trains.
Design and train IT teams on customized Agile processes for a structured delivery model.
Maintain cohesive cross-site collaboration HSV and COS via hybrid engagement.
Deliver metrics and manage backlog with Product Owner and Tech Leads.
Document planning data in the system of record for reporting and metrics.
