Job summary

Beale AFB, CA–based Information Technology/Assurance Specialist II role supports SAPs for DoD agencies, delivering day-to-day IT/IA services for collateral, SCI and SAP activities. Eligible for TS/SCI with BI; polygraph readiness may be required.

Key duties include configuring complex software controls, maintaining servers and firewalls, cybersecurity coordination, and supporting authorization packages across multiple domains in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years related experience in IT/IA or SAP environments.
• Prior roles: System/Network Administrator or IT/Assurance Specialist.
• SAP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Establish complex operational software configuration controls and interfaces.
• Maintain file servers, Firewalls, network access, Security Monitoring Systems and system documentation.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance.
• Prepare system for operational use and support operational tests.
• Review, prepare, and update authorization packages.
• Notify customers when changes occur that might affect authorization accreditation.
• Conduct cybersecurity portion of the self-inspection's checklist.
