Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking finance and accounting professionals to support a DoD client, delivering expertise across accounting, audit, internal controls, and process improvement. You will work onsite, contributing to audit remediation and financial reporting while applying DoD policies and ICOFR standards.

The role requires a valid SECRET clearance, a bachelor’s degree, and 3+ years in federal financial management, with on-site presence at least 2 days per week.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET clearance
• Three (3) or more years of experience supporting federal audit remediation efforts, business process mapping, internal controls testing, risk assessments, and accelerated audit strategies
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support for audit remediation, sustainment, and financial statement reporting and analysis.
• Apply GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR and DoD financial management policies.
• Assist in ERP system readiness and compliance with OMB policies and federal financial management systems.
• Contribute to DoD acquisition, inventory, property and material management understanding.
• Collaborate with audit teams to map processes and implement improvements.
