You will build financial management strategies, translate regulations into actionable requirements, and help secure funding to achieve client goals. With 3+ years of audit experience, GAAP/GAGAS knowledge, and advanced Excel skills, you will track funds, report findings, and collaborate with project management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing financial statement audits, including internal control testing.
• Experience with historical comparative analysis of financial records.
• Experience with the Department of Defense or Department of Navy.
• Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, slicers, data visualization, reconciliations, Power Query, macros.
• Knowledge of GAAP and GAGAS.
• Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Nice to have: Navy ERP/RSupply/ADVANA/Jupiter experience.
• CPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a financial management strategy to support the client, including securing funding goals.
• Collaborate with the U.S. Navy to create actionable funding plans.
• Ensure funding is tracked and used efficiently through regular reporting to project management.
• Translate laws, regulations, and policies into well-formed funding requirements.
